OOM renews the entire IT landscape and opts for IG&H and Novulo

OOM Verzekeringen innovates and makes its IT infrastructure and processes future-proof again. The insurer opts for a completely renewed IT setup on Novulo's insurance platform, which is implemented and managed as a SaaS solution by market and technology expert IG&H. OOM is not the first insurer to take this step. Recently, insurers Nh1816 and Markel also opted for the IG&H and Novulo solution.

OOM renews the entire IT landscape and opts for IG&H and Novulo

A platform that moves with you

The new solution replaces the existing back office system and covers all core processes, from policy administration to claims settlement and financial administration. The combination of Novulo composable technology with Dynamics 365 for the mid-office creates a flexible platform that is fully tailored to OOM's way of working.

Because OOM serves customers worldwide, there is a need for technology that is suitable for multiple brands, multiple languages, and foreign currency benefits. All elements that are standard in the Novulo platform, and therefore do not require customization. When choosing IG&H and Novulo, that international character played an important role.

“We were looking for a solution that grows with us and helps us respond quickly to changes in our markets,” says Edwin Kreikamp, CEO at OOM. “With Novulo's technology and IG&H's complete care, we will soon have a future-proof solution without any worries about management or maintenance.”

Complete peace of mind with a SaaS model

IG&H assumes full responsibility for the design, implementation, and management of the solution. This means that OOM benefits from automatic updates, scalability and continuous innovation, without being dependent on its own IT capacity or costly external development processes.

“Our collaboration with OOM is a great example of how we can fully and long-term unburden insurers,” says Stephan de Jong, Director of Insurance at IG&H. “We combine technological innovation with in-depth sector knowledge and thus offer a platform that not only works, but also grows with the customer in a future-oriented way.”

Third choice in a row for IG&H and Novulo

With the choice of OOM, IG&H and Novulo are further expanding their track record as providers of advanced insurance software. Last month, Nh1816 and Markel also opted for the IG&H and Novulo combination. The series shows that insurers that are preparing for the future are already firmly committed to the agility and scalability of their IT solution.

“OOM's choice confirms the trust that more and more insurers place in our joint approach,” says Frank Wille, CEO of Novulo. “With the combination of our technology and IG&H's proven implementation strength and management organization, we offer a platform that is not only fast, but also effortlessly aligns with the ambitions of our customers.”
